These embryos are cryopreserved and have been released to NCCRM by former NCCRM patients who have completed building their families but would like to help other couples who, for whatever reason, cannot use their own eggs and sperm. The pregnancy rates for embryo transfers are excellent, but less than donor IVF, as the best embryos have at times been used already, and the whole process is considerably more affordable and less complicated than traditional adoption. Also, with Frozen Embryo Donation, you do not have to do a home study as conventional adoption requires.

The Process
- Complete the Embryo Adoption Application form to assist NCCRM in the matching process.
- Schedule a consultation.
- Complete a saline ultrasound.
- Undergo a psychological evaluation.
- Complete bloodwork, which includes HIV testing, is required before embryo transfer.
- Our experienced NCCRM staff will do the matching.
- Continue evaluation and monitoring appointments.
- Transfer of frozen embryos
- Pregnancy test.
- No home study or background checks are required.
