Tubal Ligation Reversal Cost
Tubal Ligation Reversal at NCCRM
If you’ve had your tubes tied and are now considering pregnancy again, a tubal ligation reversal may be the solution you’re looking for. At NCCRM, we offer expert surgical care to reconnect the fallopian tubes, giving many women the opportunity to conceive naturally.
Our reversal procedure is designed to be comprehensive, safe, and successful, with a clear understanding of what’s included and what to expect along the way.
What’s Included in Tubal Reversal Surgery
Our tubal ligation reversal package covers everything needed to support you through your journey:
Initial Consultation and Coordination
You’ll meet with our dedicated Tubal Reversal Coordinator to review your medical history, discuss your previous sterilization procedure, and evaluate your eligibility for surgery.
Pre-operative Imaging
A detailed pelvic ultrasound is included and is done on surgery day to evaluate your uterine and ovarian health and help us plan your procedure with precision.
Microsurgical Reversal Procedure
Performed under general anesthesia, the surgery typically lasts 1–2 hours and uses a microsurgical technique to reconnect the fallopian tubes. In some cases, such as with Essure or Adiana devices, a specialized method is used to reattach the tubes directly into the uterus. During surgery, we also test tubal patency to ensure both tubes are open.
Anesthesia and Outpatient Recovery
Most patients go home the same day and recover comfortably at home. We provide detailed recovery instructions and ongoing guidance throughout your healing period.
Post-operative Follow-up
In-person or telemedicine post-op appointment. This is scheduled for 2 weeks after the procedure. Most patients return to regular activity within two weeks.
Additional Considerations That May Affect Your Surgery Cost
Every patient is unique, and some patients may have additional medical needs that can influence the scope or approach of the surgery to ensure the best outcome:
Pre-operative Lab Work
This may include blood work such as a complete blood count (CBC), and in some cases, an AMH test to evaluate ovarian reserve. These tests are typically ordered after your medical records have been reviewed.
Previous Surgeries or C-sections
A history of multiple abdominal surgeries may require additional time or a modified surgical approach. This will be discussed during your consultation.
Liposuction
If your BMI is 28.3 or higher, minor liposuction may be required to access the reproductive structures safely. This helps ensure optimal surgical visibility and results.
Additional Surgical Needs
In some cases, conditions such as fibroids or uterine polyps may be identified during your pre-surgical evaluation. They will be discussed with you in advance if their removal is recommended to improve your chances of a successful pregnancy. However, specific abnormalities may only become apparent during the surgery itself. If this occurs, our surgical team will use their best judgment to address them safely and effectively. Please note that additional procedures may incur separate charges and may be eligible for insurance reimbursement, depending on your plan.

Ready to Begin?
We’re here to guide you on your journey toward restoring fertility. Here’s how to begin:
1. Schedule a Free Getting Started Call
Connect with our team to take the first step. During this call, we’ll walk you through completing your medical information form (application) and obtaining medical records from your tubal ligation surgery. Once we receive these documents, our providers will carefully review them to determine your eligibility for tubal ligation reversal surgery.
2. Upon Approval
In most cases, surgery is approved. You’ll then receive an email inviting you to a Discovery Call. During this call, a team member will:
- Review your medical approval and any conditions required.
- Answer any questions you have regarding the procedure and post-operative care.
- Go over financial options, if needed.
- Schedule your surgery date.
- Provide the next steps to prepare for your surgery.
3. If Surgery is Not Approved
In some cases, surgery may not be possible—either because it would be unsafe or unlikely to restore fertility with a reasonable chance of success. If this happens, our team will contact you to explain the decision and connect you with our IVF Coordinator to discuss alternative treatment options.
